The End of an Amazing Summer!
by LocalOctober 2, 2008 - 10:37am.
Time flies when you're having fun...no wonder the summer flew by here in Telluride! This summer was slam packed full of festivals, fireworks, friends, films, smiles, late night shows, laughs, grand tastings, good times, and much more. But there's no better way to go out on a remarkable summer than to end with the Telluride Blues and Brews festival.
This year we were blessed with beautiful, blue-bird skies while Gov't Mule, G.Love, the John Butler Trio, Derek Trucks, Etta James and many more jammed out on main stage in Telluride's breath-taking Town Park. And that's just half the fun... Saturday of Blues and Brews is the Grand Tasting with over 50 microbreweries from all around the country. For three hours you can enjoy live music while sampling over 150 different kinds of beer, which will leave you with over 150 different reasons to never leave this beautiful box canyon. Cheers to an amazing summer!
"When B.B. King performed here in 2004, he sat on this same stage, looked out at the mountains before him, and told the crowd, "Out of the 90 different countries I've been to, I've never seen anything more beautiful than what you have here.""
